Tim Binkley

Raised in the snow-covered landscape of Minnesota, Tim Binkley now enjoys the beaches and boating opportunities of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. His love for music began in middle school when he brought home an unexpected instrument, the valve trombone, and discovered a lifelong passion. With more than twenty years of experience directing choirs, Tim especially enjoys helping students who are unsure of their vocal abilities discover confidence and joy through choral music.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from Maranatha Baptist University and continued his education at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. For the past twenty-three years, he has served as the youth pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland, where he focuses on training and mentoring students.

Tim and his wife, Anne, have been married for thirty years. Five of their seven children have performed with the Magi and the Salisbury Children’s Choir through the years.

Dr. Anne Binkley

Originally from Eastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Anne Binkley has lived in Salisbury for the past 23 years. She brings more than twenty years of experience in music education and thirty years of music performance. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Doctor of Music Education from Liberty University. Dr. Binkley has been recognized for academic excellence through membership in Kappa Delta Pi, Omega Nu Lambda, and Phi Kappa Phi, and graduated from Liberty University with high distinction.

Throughout her career, Dr. Binkley has taught music at three colleges, a conservatory, private schools, and within Worcester County Public Schools. Her dedication to excellence in music education has earned her recognition as an Outstanding Music Educator by the Maryland Music Educators Association.

A passionate educator and advocate for student growth, Dr. Binkley is committed to fostering excellence, creativity, and lifelong learning. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she and her husband, Tim, have been married for nearly 30 years and enjoy spending time with their seven children, particularly sharing their love of music.
